Who can resist this face?

They drive me absolutely insane 90% of the time, dragging me down the street, eating anything and everything. But one look from these adorable faces and I'm showering them with treats and toys. Wouldn't you?

Chew Monsters

Daddy bought the girls new toys made out of recycled tires:) They are supposed to be super strong and durable.

But they were no match for Julie. Less than 5 mins after getting her toy, she had chunks taken out of it.

Ok annnnndddd sleep:)

Penny has decided the best position to sleep in is directly on her back, or in military terms: tango umbrella.
Julie thinks she can steal all of Penny's sleeping spaces. Again....sharing does not come easy!

Brr

It took some time for the girls to settle in together, but when they finally did, the cuteness was unbearable!

This week, Penny got a new coat for the cold weather! She looks so cute and stylish:)

Singing in the Rain

So for the first few posts, I'll do a little back tracking along with our new adventures.
Here are the babies on their respective first days at home:
Julie weighed a tiny 18 pounds and immediately took to lounging on the furniture. She also showed an early like for people food, honing the art of begging from an early age.
Penny was terrified of Julie during their first encounter, climbing up my mom to get away. But who could blame her, she had just been ripped away from her mom and dragged on a 4 hour car ride through what at the time felt like a hurricane. It didn't help that Julie decided she made a delicious chew toy.
But they learned to love each other....eventually.
On Sunday, we all ventured into the rain with our pal Henley and his parents Ali and Hunter to play at the tennis courts. Ali caught some cute video of the festivities....and of Julie failing to share. (All I can say is the sharing is a work in progess......and we have made little progress).
